摘要
This paper describes a simple electrochemical technique to establish a correlation for natural-convection mass transfer in which the dimensionless group Sherwood number is expressed as a function of Grashof and Schmidt numbers. The laboratory experiment introduces chemical engineering students to the basic theories of mass transfer, dimensional analysis, and electrochemistry, and at the same time provides training and skills in certain electrochemical techniques.
