Principles and methods to estimate error factors in digital systems have been developed. The measurement results concerning error factors of digital channels may be false, when these measurements are based on the method adopted in the past. That's why recommendations are given to eliminate these errors. The recommendations should be taken into account in developing a measuring device designed to estimate error factors in digital channels.
