摘要
Thermally stimulated discharge current (TSDC) study has been made on sulfur magneto-electrets, prepared at different temperatures (T//f) and different magnetic fields (H//f). A linear heating rate of 1 degree C/min has been used. TSDC spectra have revealed the existence of two peaks on either side of the temperature axis: the one at temperature 82 plus or minus 1 degree C is on the negative side and the other at 87 plus or minus 1 degree C is on the positive side. Energies of the two trap levels corresponding to these peaks were calculated using three different methods. The high value of activation energy corresponding to the first peak indicates the ionic nature of the trapped charges. The second peak may be due to electrons trapped at levels with low trap depths. Maxwell-Wagner charging is supposed to be responsible for the volume polarization of the sample during magneto-electret formation.
