摘要
This paper presents the wall-beam concept and its design and construction features. Applications and benefits of this concept to the design of both load bearing and non-load bearing brick masonry walls are also presented. The design and construction of reinforced brickwork beams for compound walls using the wall-beam concept have also been highlighted.
