摘要
A new neutral grounding mode based on controllable arc suppressing coil (CASC) with quick response is put forward to speed up the line detection and tripping, the basic requirements of this grounding mode for CASC and line detector is presented, in addition, the basic principles, technical features, checking and operation of two devices are described, one is an intelligent arc suppression coil and the another is an intelligent grounding fault detector for distribution network. The situation of trying out the two devices to implement a new type of neutral grounding mode is given. At last the superiorities of this grounding mode are listed.
