HIGH PERFORMANCE MECHANICAL VHF/UHF TUNER.

A new high performance VHF/UHF tuner has been developed employing new devices, such as VHF rf dual-gate MOS FET 3SK49, UHF rf transistor 2SC1547 and high selectivity circuits. A small-size VHF tuner and detent-tuning mechanism of a UHF tuner are achieved by the new design technique of printed coils and the frequency linearity of the variable capacitors. The schematic diagram of the UHF tuner is given, and the image trap is shown pictorially and as an equivalent circuit.
