摘要
A collisional-radiative model was developed to systematically calculate effective dielectronic recombination (DR) rate coefficients in dense plasmas. Using this model, the partial effects of collisional mixing, collisional stabilization, and collisional ionizations as well as the total collisional effect were analyzed for Ne-like Fe16+, Se24+, and W64+. It was found that the effect of collisional mixing on DR first appears at relatively low electron densities, about an order of magnitude lower than that for the appearance of the collisional ionization effects. On the other hand, at high temperatures and high densities, collisional ionization became dominant and the DR rates were reduced.
