摘要：
Soft starters help to prevent unwanted load peaks from occurring when electric drives and machines are started. They match the stator voltage of cage motors to actual torque requirements, improve the power factor and reduce power consumption. As a rule, soft starters also lengthen the service life of the motor and the driven machine.
