摘要
It might be concluded that the proper cathodic protection is prominently effective for retardation of crack initiation of welded specimen. To keep the offshore structure maintenance-free for 20 years service, the complete cathodic protection is absolutely necessary. Therefore, to take stress gradient effect into the cathodic protection design, the influence of the stress gradient on corrosion fatigue behavior of the large scaled connected tubular joint should be studied.
