Nonlaminar seepage flow has been studied on a trapezoidal physical model, both homogeneous and heterogeneous, particularly in connection with the limit stability conditions for the material of the downstream slope. The free surface and piezometric heads on the base of the previous material have been determined for various seepage discharge rates and heads both upstream and downstream. Analysis of the results has suggested some analytical solutions.
