摘要
Inverse time-overcurrent relays obey the relation I**nt equals constant and are used for the protection of transmission line and equipment. The value of index n is chosen to match the specific characteristic required by the system under consideration. This paper introduces an analog/digital overcurrent relay and uses an analog multiplier function generator that permits any choice of desired integer values of n. In this proposed technique, a highly reliable voltage to frequency converter of high noise immunity and low power consumption is used.
