摘要
The main characteristics of canal ecosystems are artificiality and formation under the effect of the engineering decisions made. The key issue when constructing a mathematical model of canals is the establishment of the functional relations between the main abiotic and biotic components of the ecosystem. In this case, the design and technological parameters of the structure should be considered as abiotic characteristics. A mathematical model of canal ecosystems for problems of water-quality management should be aimed at regulating autochthonous processes. To construct such a model, the authors examine the structure of the abiotic and biotic parts of canal ecosystems and the relations existing between them.
