摘要
This paper explains the experimentally established decrease of coke reactivity due to the retarding effect of diffusion in pores. In this connection, a simple mathematical model used for the characterization of the reaction kinetics of solid porous substances with gases is discussed. An analysis reveals that the diffusion-related reactivity drop depends on the grain size, coke chemical activity, temperature, and on the porous structure of coke.
