摘要
The history of development and features of the vacuum molding process are reviewed. The various types of foundry sand molding machines in which this process is applicable are discussed; covered are shuttle (transfer) molding machines, rotary table molding machines, revolving molding machines, molding machines for bath tubs, and a triple revolving molding machine. Auxiliary equipment for molding machines is also dealt with.
