摘要
The effects of variations in the raindrop size distribution on the accuracy with which the NEXRAD radar can measure rainfall are assessed. This is done by using actual radar data from the KGSP NEXRAD radar at the Greer, SC, National Weather Service Forecast Office together with disdrometer data from the Clemson Atmospheric Research Laboratory at Clemson University. The obtained results are discussed.
