A method of calculation of the service life of structural elements, based on the theory of the growth of fatigue cracks, is presented. Using concrete examples, the possibility of determination of material constants (B and K//I//c), required for calculation, by means of a kinetic diagram of the fatigue growth of cracks, is shown. Examples of determination of the service for a rectangular panel with a central crack and with two lateral cracks are presented.
