摘要
The kinetic parameters of thermal decomposition of cellulosic materials in air were determined by a thermogravimetric method in 'Setaram' apparatus, as described in the literature. The characteristics of the cotton and unbleached sulfite celluloses used in the work are given. Results of determinations of the dependence of weight loss alpha on the temperature T at two heating rates: 2. 5 and 5 deg/min, were used as the starting data for the calculations. It is seen that up to 200 degree degradation of cellulose is slight; the weight change is due to desorption of water, and the more amorphous the cellulose the greater the weight loss resulting from this cause.
