Properties and performance of protective coatings based on fluorine-containing polymers are discussed together with presentation of commercially available materials. Chemical and high-temperature resistance of these products are pointed out. Materials considered include coatings made of PTFE, Polyvinylfluoride, polyvinylidene-fluoride, polychlorotrifluoroethylene, and some copolymers.
