Results of an experimental investigation into the local heat transfer during interaction between a single axisymmetrical air jet and the surface of a transversely positioned cylinder are presented. Variations in the Nusselt number at the lateral surface of the cylinder in the cross-section perpendicular to its generatrix and passing through the axis of the jet are analyzed.
