Pozidriv machine screws in the small size range down to 8 BA or metric equivalent have been used satisfactorily in the small components engineering industries since the Pozidriv from was first introduced. However, damage to the recesses in some applications led to a comprehensive test program designed to examine any areas where improvements could be made. An outline of the test report prepared by G. K. N. Screws & Fasteners Ltd is given.
