An attempt is made to contribute to the up-to-date maintenance, appropriately error prevention strategy efforts in Hungary by expanding the classical concept of error and discussing the causes of functional disturbances in a broader scope. The complex analysis of the error phenomena implies, on one hand, some urgent quality improvement tasks and, on the other hand, it serves as a basis for the planning of modern error prevention strategy within the framework of failureless industrial process.
