摘要
This paper discussed apparent color shifts in color-dots in a spatial array of three primary colors. Results of experiments on visual color shifts in color-bars of primary colors as a function of spatial frequency, using a striped pattern consisting of bars of two primary colors, are described. A model is proposed for visual color mixing of spatial pattern, in which human color vision possesses spatial spread functions for each of the primary colors, aside from a spread function for brightness pattern. Angular spread functions of primary colors deduced from the experimental results are presented. The spread angle of primary color blue is widest in comparison with other colors in shifting red and green to cyan and magenta, respectively, at frequencies as low as about 3-5 cpd.
