摘要
A numerical model to analyze the internal failure mechanism of concrete is presented taking into account the mesoscopic heterogeneous structure of concrete and its local fracture. A two-node element called microstructural unit element is used in the analysis of concrete subject to sustained compressive loading. It is confirmed through numerical simulations that the heterogeneity in concrete yields nonlinear response in creep even in a low stress range.
