Wastewater treatment has been developed rapidly in Hong Kong over the last ten years, with preliminary, primary and secondary treatment processes in operation. This paper aims to summarize the experiences and observations from operation of different plants. They are not conclusive, but merely provide some information from the short history of operation. It is hoped that these will be useful for further investigation or research work to improve operational efficiency.
