摘要
Nanocrystalline (NC) Fe89Zr-B4 soft magnetic alloys consist of an α-Fe phase and a residual amorphous phase. The intensities of specific saturation magnetization of the residual amorphous phase (MSA) and the α-Fe phase (MSα) were evaluated by using transmission Mossbauer spectroscopy and magnetic balance. Results show that ΔMS, which is the difference in the values between MSα and MSA, is considerably large. The influence of ΔMS on soft magnetic properties of the alloys was discussed. It was found that the large ΔMS may result in relatively lower permeability states in the NC FeZrB alloys, indicating ΔMS might be one of the factors which intensively affect the soft magnetic properties of NC alloys. © 1997 Acta Metallurgica Inc.
