An installation is described which permits determining mechanical properties of specimens removed from local zones of metals, their alloys, thin sheets, various zones of welded joints and so on under static deformation at different temperatures. The error of dynamometering is plus or minus 4. 8 H, that of deformation minus plus or minus 0. 01 mm, that of temperature - plus or minus 1. 5 K. Experimental results for uniaxial tension test of five-fold smooth specimens of steels VSt. 3kp, 17G1S-U with 1. 2 mm diameter of the operating part within the range of temperatures of 77-293 K are presented.
