摘要
The article gives a description of a noise monitoring system installed near an airport in California. The system can be used to identify individual noisy aircraft as well as to study the noise exposure of the airport community over long periods. Such noise monitoring systems may assist airports in the implementation of noise abatement techniques, including noise abatement flight procedures, preferential runway use, and land acquisition and use control. 6 refs.
