摘要
The basic problem associated with no-till and minimum tillage planting is the seed placement under the crop residue. Three common size plain disc coulters were evaluated in a soil bin for their crop residue cutting ability as influenced by soil resistance and straw density. Draft and vertical forces on coulters were measured for tests with and without straw cover.
