Estimates are made of the errors in the components involved in calculating the monthly and annula water balances. It is shown that these errors have a pronounced annual trend. The mean absolute errors in calculating the monthly balances represent a 4. 9 cm layer of water, while the annula ones represent 10. 0 cm. The largest contribution to the error comes from the calculation of evaporation.
