摘要
The Robotic Industries Association has been pursuing an aggressive campaign to `get out the word' that the new robot safety standards, ANSI/RIA R15.06-1999, has been approved and published. The new standard has a wealth of information on the safeguarding of personnel in robotic work cells. It is also a performance standard. New systems designed and installed in accordance with the standard will be even more safe and efficient that robotic workcells in the past.
