摘要：
Specific issues of the design and main application fields of whitening filters (WFs) are considered. An interdependence between WFs, interference compensators, and recurrent estimators is established. Application of WFs realized in discrete time is discussed. The detection and filtering of signals in the presence of the correlated interference is studied. The possibility of applying WFs for speech processing in ultralow-speed communications systems is demonstrated.
