Application of the equivalent control by sliding mode to a field-oriented induction motor drive

摘要
This study deals with the application of the sliding mode theory to an induction motor fed by a PWM voltage-source-inverter in which the system operates in the field-control. After testing some sliding surfaces established for a state feedback control law, an equivalent control associated to these surfaces for speed and position regulation has been synthesized. Some results of simulation are presented in order to show the performances of this proposed method.
