摘要
Properties of refractories reinforced with corrosion resistant steel fibers obtained by rapid quenching are presented. Reinforcing refractory concrete with 0.7-1.7 vol.% steel fibers increases the bend strength on 13-27%, the compression strength on 14-20%. Reinforcing increases the thermal stability, the impact strength and the durability of refractories. Reinforced refractories are used in the cement industry, metallurgical industry and oil industry.
