Check Samples for Spectrographic Analysis: Homogeneity Tests.

It is shown that the use of standard cylindrical specimens makes it possible not only to determine absolute values with the highest possible accuracy, but also to test metal homogeneity. These tests require a data output on punched cards as well as computation facilities. On the other hand, the interpretation of variance analysis makes it possible to define heterogeneity factors and to determine the reliability factor for the entire production which is necessary for the efficient use of standard specimens.
