摘要
Both plane and antiplane problems for a finite plate having contour with cusps and applied by the concentrated forces are discussed. If one first finds the principal parts of complex potentials and secondly finds the complementary (holomorphic) parts of them to satisfy the traction-free condition along the contour, then the proposed problem becomes very simple and can be solved in a rather simple manner. If the conformal mapping function used is rational, all the boundary value problems concerning the traction-free condition (or fixed boundary condition) can be reduced to a problem of complex variables.
