摘要
To determine the effect of corona losses on transmission line transients, the time domain transmission line differential equations are solved via the finite element method and the leap-frog scheme. Suliciu's model was used to represent the qxv characteristic of the conductor under corona. The implemented subroutine interfaces with the Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP). Good results were obtained, compared with experimental studies. The advantages of the proposed implementation are the small code and processing time.
