A comparative thermodynamic analysis is made of a closed-cycle gas turbine plant (CGTP) operating on low boiling substances and on a binary mixture of low boiling substances with the condensation of one of the components. Some advantages of CGTP operating on He and CO//2 with partial condensation of CO//2 in comparison with CGTP operating on CO//2 alone, in conditions when the CGTP are operating on gas-liquid cycles, are shown. This indicates the possibility of designing highly efficient and relatively compact plant.
