摘要：
The production of rimming, semi-killed and killed steel in Poland and in some other countries is discussed. The causes of changes in the proportion of different types of steel in total steel production and the prospects for wider application of semikilled steel are noted. The prevailing prices for products made of different types of steel and the losses resulting from the use of killed instead of semikilled steel are analyzed and discussed.
