Certain Methods of Identification of the Parameters and Dynamic Properties of Rail Vehicles.

Some methods of determining the inertia, elastic and damping parameters of a rail vehicle are discussed on the basis of the result of an experiment carried out on a real object. The characteristics of the elastic couplings, the masses, the moments of inertia and the spectral power density functions of the displacements were determined experimentally and were used to combine two methods for identifying the parameters and the dynamic properties of the linear equations of motion of a real vehicle.
