摘要
The biomechanics of pig's corneas have been studied by structural engineering analysis using finite element methods. The trephinate inflation testing program involved subjecting 20 porcine corneas to internal pressure increases and monitoring their performance. In two specimens, the tests involved three cycles of pressure increase and decrease to determine the material hysteretic performance. The results conform that the nonlinear behavior observed is primarily due to the nature of the material and its microstructure.
