Reservoir simulation was used to look at the factors that influence gravity segregation in a two-phase displacerment and the magnitude of gravity effects. A series of calculations was made in which the parameters that affect gravity segregation were systematically varied and the resulting effect on gravity segregation was observed. The paper presents a correlation between the degree of segregation and the various parameters.
