摘要：
By using the isoparametric quasi-conforming element method, a new type of singular element - the quasi-conforming singular element - is presented, which is set up by adding an internal degree of freedom on the basis of a conforming singular element, and its patch test can be verified. The stress intensity factors of several typical 2- or 3-D crack problems are calculated by this element. Compared with the results obtained from other singular elements, this new type of element will appreciably improve calculating accuracy.
