摘要
This paper presents the results of resonant fatigue tests conducted on rotor blades of a LP and HP Compressor, in three different alloys of titanium. The efforts made to improve the fatigue standard of the HP Compressor Rotor Blades in one particular alloy by various finishing treatments, vacuum treatment and re-heat treatment cycles are described. The effect of each of these on the final fatigue standards achieved is discussed. Certain trends observed from the tests conducted so far are indicated.
