摘要
In the present paper the absorption of electromagnetic waves is analyzed in magnetically ordered crystals doped with magnetic impurities whose ground state is two-fold orbitally degenerate (E-term). In comparison with the case of a pure spin impurity, the spectrum of localized states of the system being considered is more complex. This manifests itself in the appearance of additional lines in both the magnetic and the electrical dipole absorption spectra of electromagnetic radiation.
