摘要
HIPO (Hierarchy plus Input - Process - Output) is defined as a design aid and documentation technique to support design and documentation of complex computer programs. It is based upon a hierarchical structure of program functions that build a modular structure. This technique is consistent since it can be used simultaneously for different steps of development such as initial design, detail design and documentation. HIPO is also compatible with other improved programming techniques known as software engineering.
