摘要
The solar energy potential on Syrian territory is studied. The analysis is based on data provided by Meteorological Institute of Dumascus and established principal correlations between solar radiation characteristics and recorded meteorological parameters. The objective of this work was to obtain data on solar energy potential for regions where only some climatic data are available. The simulation of diurnal evolution of solar radiation intensity has been useful for mathematical modelling of solar installations. Some recommendations are made on extension of the results obtained by the authors on whole Syrian territory.
