In conditions of limited visibility are used radars with superwide-band signals in regime of oblique sounding. An algorithm is developed for signal discrimination from interference and following its identification for the mentioned regime. Expressions are obtained which connect the time interval between direct and delayed signals. At known velocity of a transport facility the interval may be recounted into the range discreteness. The interval may be optimized in the signal-interference ratio with account for signal and interference characteristics. It is shown that increase of the algorithm dimension is expedient only in some determined limits.
