摘要
The paper examines steel-titanium bimetal during hot rolling. Dependance of mechanical properties on the following factors has been studied: grades of steel and titanium; relative position of heterogeneous metal layers; rolling temperature relations of thickness to roll diameter; uniformity of layers in the initial billet; the value of overall and pass reduction: surface friction (metal vs roll) and interlayer friction (steel vs titanium) before bond formation. The investigation was carried out in vacuum, an inert atmosphere and air.
