The influence of the finite dimensions of the aperture of separated receiving antennas on the statistical characteristics of signal envelopes and phases as well as the difference of the envelopes and the difference of the phase of the signals is investigated for the case of tropospheric radio wave propagation. Quantitative estimates of the fluctuation statistics of the signal envelopes and phases at the antenna output are derived.
