摘要
The results of laboratory research and field tests to advance lubrication technology were covered in the Symposium on Wheel/Rail Lubrication. Presentations ranged from tests on lubricants to detailed studies of fuel savings and the numerous lubricating systems now available. These include: locomotive mounted lubricators; wayside electronic lubricators; oil lubrication; predicting wheel/rail wear tests; locomotive-mounted wheel flange systems.
